Focus on making a good first impression when your holiday guests arrive
Make sure the areas where they are going to spend the most time are clutter-free, clean and smell good. Taking care of a few things before they arrive will help you to relax and spend more time together.
Front door: make sure the area around the door is clean and inviting – inside and outside of the house. Remove any clutter and have a place for guests’ shoes, and coats.
Living Room: get rid of any clutter, clean surfaces and flooring and add any extra seating.
Kitchen: store the small appliances and other things on your counter so you have room for food prep. If you have time, clean out the fridge and make sure water bottles or cans of pop are easy to find for your guests. Put a couple of clean mugs next to the coffee maker.
Bathroom: Do a deep clean, and leave out extra towels and toiletries.
Are your guests spending the night? Clean the guest room and make it feel welcoming. Leave extra blankets and pillows.
Entertaining should be fun, and not stressful. If you need the house to be deep cleaned before your guests arrive, give us a call at 517.605.6944 or book online.
